Mark Fosson is a respected and not-too-well kept
secret in Los Angeles’ Americana community-- one of
those tall, vaguely mysterious guys who’s always
quick with a quip or a tune, someone other artists
turn to for soulful songs, break-your-heart
harmonies, and dependably good picking on guitar
and mandolin. The news that a CD’s coming out with
his name over the title, Jesus On A Greyhound, is
long overdue. There have been so many false starts,
mid-project plug-pullings and close-but-not-quite
brushes with the proverbial brass ring that he
jokes he almost titled this long-awaited release
What’s The Hurry? Or Slightly Dented.

Interview with Mark
“I knew absolutely nothing whatsoever about Fosson
but one spin of his CD tells me that here is a
major talent waiting to be discovered.“
